Custom domains with Webaze

By default, the domain used for the shortlinks is "wbze.de". To change this, connect another domain with your profile.

Setup your domain

To get started, point your domain to Webaze. Create a DNS entry for your domain:

yourdomain.com CNAME wbze.de

Alternatively, if this isn't working, use:

yourdomain.com A 109.71.253.25

Note: It can take up to 24 hours until DNS changes apply completely.

Verify the ownership

Verify that you're the owner of the domain (or permitted to perform this action), add a TXT entry to your DNS settings.

The required content for this record can be found on your profile page.

Link the domain with your account

If you completed all steps and the DNS changes applied, go to your profile page again and link your domain with the account you're currently logged in to by entering the domain into the text field.

Your domain should appear in the list below the text field. 

After we processed and registered the domain to our system (which can take up to 24 hours), you should be able to select your domain when creating the shortlink.
